The applied robotics concentration is designed for students who are interested in delving deeper into the field of robotics. With an emphasis on hands-on learning, students will spend time designing, fabricating and experimenting in labs. Students are immersed in programming, simulation and automation while obtaining foundational knowledge in industry 4.0. Courses include: Parametric Modeling; Engineering Statics and Strength of Materials; Physics; Calculus; Robotics; Automated Systems; and Digital Manufacturing and Simulation. Upon graduation, students will be prepared for career paths as robotics engineers, robotics programmers, simulation engineers, robotics integrators and CAD/CAM programmers.
