Ted Stambaugh, BA ’77, retired after 35 year of service in the food industry. He currently manages technical investments with Northlake Advanced Innovation.

Nancy (Brady) Smith, BSPh ’78, received the 2022 Precinct Election Official of the Year during a ceremony in Columbus, Ohio, on June 27, 2023. In November, she also published a children’s book,��The Adventures of Aloysius, by Drinian Press.

William Bidwell, BSPh ’80, retired from pharmacy in September 2023.

Steve Kaplan, BSPh ’82, has been elected president of the Ohio Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He will now oversee 1,800 members in 23 chapters throughout Ohio. The Sons of the American Revolution is a charitable lineage organization whose members have proved their ancestry to a patriot in the United States Revolutionary War. Their goals are patriotic, historical, and educational.

Daniel Reep, BSME ’82, welcomed his eighth grandchild.

Richard Trice, BS ’84, has been named president of Glenbeigh, a nationally recognized leader in substance use disorder treatment services.

Larissa (Borysiewicz) Himmeger, BS ’88, has three grandchildren: Hayden, age 6, Sawyer, age 3, and Callen, age 2.

Adam Anderson, BSBA ’00, and��April (Duncan) Anderson, BSPh ’00, are the parents of a new Polar Bear: their oldest daughter, Ariana, is attending ONU in the fall of 2024! Four years ago, Adam opened his law firm, Anderson & Labovitz, in Pittsburgh, which now has 10 attorneys.

Lauren Augusta, BS ’00, and her family relocated to a ski town outside of Grenoble, France, for her husband’s job. The couple's 4-year-old is attending the local school and Lauren is learning the language and looking for work.

Aaron Carns, BSEE ’01, obtained his professional teaching license.

Bruce Hammond, BA ’01, was named executive director of the American Pediatric Society and Society for Pediatric Research.

Heather (Phipps) Sunday, JD ’02, was sworn in as a Magistrate for the Franklin County Probate Court on April 29, 2024.

Jill Worthington, JD ’02, was re-elected Van Wert Municipal Court Judge and has served in that capacity for the past 13 years.

Brandon Steele, BS ’04, received a Doctor of Education degree in leadership studies from Ashland University.

Erik Hoeke, BA ’05, recently began as the director of continuing education at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Kristin (Hubbard) Temple, BA ’05, became a professionally-licensed counseling practitioner and transitioned into opening her own counseling private practice, Wilderness Blooms. She is trained in helping people recover from trauma and loss.

Amanda Dittmar, BSME ’06, husband Nick Cerulli, and big brother Teddy welcomed little Lucy to the family in February 2024.

Erin (Chandler) Simon, BA ’06, welcomed Chandler James Simon on Jan. 11, 2024, completing their family. Big sister Quinn, as well as the rest of the family are smitten! He will hopefully attend his first ONU Homecoming this September.

Emmy (Llewellyn) Elguizaoui, BA ’07, and husband Mark welcomed their second child, Isaac Mark Elguizaoui, on Sept. 1, 2023. He joins older brother Milo, who will turn 4 in August. Emmy started a new role at GE HealthCare as communications manager for the US and Canada region in the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics segment.

Kristen (Pniewski) Steele, BA ’07, was promoted to director of human resources and communications at Bessemer Management Company, where she's worked for five years. Bessemer Management is a family of five trucking companies based in Cleveland, Ohio.

Melissa Purcell, JD ’10, accepted a role as general counsel with Guardian Litigation Group, after 14 years in a corporate technology counsel role with JPMorgan Chase. She was accepted into Harvard Business School beginning in May 2024.

Christopher Katherman, JD ’15, was promoted to chief deputy prosecutor at the York County (Pa.) District Attorney’s Office where he oversee the Special Crimes Unit which is responsible for the prosecution of child homicides, child physical abuse, and sex crimes.��
