A聽workshop聽and discussion regarding "Cracking the code: The non-obvious ways we are making courses not accessible." will be held on聽Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2-4 p.m., at JLK 103. This session will be facilitated by Heather Nash, student disability coordinator, and Kelly Hall, Ph.D., assistant professor of chemistry.聽
A brief presentation will be given to share different course related accessibility practices for all students. Following the presentation, there will be a brainstorming and problem solving discussion.聽During this discussion, participants will have an opportunity to聽work聽with colleagues to crack the codes and discover the hidden ways we are making our courses less accessible for all of our students.聽
This workshop is聽one of the professional development opportunities provided by the Office of Belonging, Inclusion, and Diversity and the Office of Student Disability Services through C.A.F.E. for faculty.
